When I assign the either the C1 or C2 slider to either Chorus or Reverb, they don't do anything in Patch mode. How do I get them to function?

Just off the top of my head (I don't really use these controllers), I'd suggest checking to make sure the patches themselves are set to accept the controller data that you are sending them. There's an edit screen in Patch Edit for determining which parameters certain controllers messages will affect.

I've been to that screen, and on it you can't select C1 and C2 for the Ctrl 1 and Ctrl 2 fields. The closest you can get are Sys-Ctrl 1 and Sys-Ctrl 2, but I have no idea what those are, and they don't seem to function according to what I set for them either.

For some reason the sliders work in Performance and GM mode (although their range is rather small)...
