happy holidays to all ,i posted this before but couldn't come to a decision,i was checking Behringer Xenyx 1832FX or soundcraft with effects or anything with effects ,because i am planning to get this mixer for a church ,i will playing and singing ,that is why i need some effects,so please help

Do yourself a favor..check out the Edirol M-10dx...It is perfect for vocals and keyboards..

Whatever you get, I would be cautious about using too much effects if you are playing in a church. Unless it is a small, dead room most churches already have enough natural reverb to satisfy the congregation. Perhaps you can return the reverb to the monitors and NOT the mains if you need something to sing into, but be careful of overdoing it into the church. Yes, your board tapes will sound a bit dry, but if you listen out front in the church, you will often be amazed at how little, if any, reverb you need....

For clarity's sake, I have long given up having any reverb in my monitors, and once you get used to it, it is amazing how much more detail in your playing you can hear once it doesn't have to fight past the 'wash' of the vocal reverb. And, to be honest, how much better you sing once you aren't being supported by that artificial reverb!
