Is it possible with an XP-60 to change performances in a song? That is, if I want my orchestra to suddenly break out in some heavy metal riffs, can I do this?

The manuel seems to say that you can, but the procedure isn't well documented. Can someone explain it to me in English?

I think it is possible to change the performance in a song by recording some midi messages on a track (!?)I don't really know how ,I don't understand why would you do that, you can use a performance to its fully pottential and it will sound pretty well;you have 16 tracks, you can mix them together!

Can I? Even if I want to use 32 patches total? (not all at the same time, of course). How can I do this?
