Roland only made one type of JV-1080.
I think the 'super' name tag was added by Roland to tempt JV-880 owners.
The JV-2080 (A JV-1080 with extra bells & whistles) doesn't have 'super' on it's name panel.

Early Roland synth modules, the MKS-80 had a 'super' name check.
The JD-990 is a 'super' JD module, and was the rack mount version of the JD-800 (with a few extras).

A 1080 is a 1080...
