Southeast Report: Sunny but chilly 59 degrees in Southeast Florida. (It's chilly for us natives. The Yankees are going to the beach...even into the water.)

When it rains, it pours!

So much for that Albert Hammond song adage: " It Never Rains in California ", it's been coming down cats and dogs (the last few days) with Hail, Lighting and THUNDER thrown in, making it more of a challenge getting the gear to/from gigs. I just Hope this helps get us out of the long drought we've had.

HI ALL,

Today is another interesting weather day here.

We got a lot of really hard rain in the morning causing lots of flash floods around us and in our streets.

The wind was less severe today so far with a high of about 45 mph. Yesterday we had 74 mph in our area.

This afternoon is ½ hour of hard rain, then big lightning and thunder strikes nearby then 15 minutes of pea size hail turning my street white and then repeats over and over again several times.

Now that has passed and is just a steady rain now.

I think this storm was 3 of the 5 lined up coming at us so more to come. Stay tuned.

This weather is all heading your way so you will have to deal with it next and it will probably have a lot of snow and ice in it by the time you get it.

Jann is spending an hour and ½ each way commuting to her office about 25 miles up the freeway. Every one is being really cautious after the first rash of wrecks we had in the first storm.

I See that Los Angeles area is getting beat up really bad too.
