Thomas J. Snee of Levittown passed away Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010. He was 91.
Tom was born in Roxborough and graduated from St. John's High School.
He earned an aircraft and engine license and worked for Pan Am before enlisting in the U.S. Army and serving overseas for four years as a master sergeant crew chief, working on B-17's during World War II.
He was a quality assurance manager for the Department of Defense.
Tom was a lifelong musician. During the years that he was in high school, in the military and working, he also arranged music and played trumpet in dance bands. In his retirement, he enjoyed a second career as a singer and keyboardist, performing in local clubs and restaurants.
He was the husband of Peg (Kelley); father of Kathleen, Tim (Barb), Rita and David (Sheryl) Snee, and Chris David (Kim), and grandfather of seven. He is also survived by his sister Mary McGrath of Media, Pa.
A memorial service will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road, Levittown.
