Check this Dutch fellows set up out.
It looks like he put a Tyros2 in a Piano case.
The set up is genius. http://www.paulrichard.nl/Podium_setup.html

The Demos aren't to bad either.

Neat ...
Kind of reminds me of the Yamaha Electric Grand of the late 70's ... http://elitechoice.org/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/avantgrand.jpg
Hope he remembers to lock those wheels ...

It's actually a keyboard stand made to look like a grand. There are a number of companies and models to choose from on the net that have these stands/shells available in all kinds of qualities/ price ranges. Been looking at them myslef a little bit.

hi everybody,

Thank you all for the compliments. I build the grandpinao myself from scratch ( only the paintjob was done by a painter). I now have the T3 inside and as I speak I have completed my newest grandpiano which is on one platform. i now need approx 5 minutes to set up. In one week I'll have some photo's. if someone can tell me how to upload them I will do that. As Jeff (korg4god)mentioned you can buy shells but the problem with that is that you see all the cables and you must put your equipment every time in and out and you must walk a hundred times with your gear. I now walk two times and i'm ready + the benefit is when I'm sitting and the people are standing, our faces are on the same hight. When you sit on the ground with a regular stand/shell you always looking to someones butt

I bet you are taking more seriously as a player too?

Nice job. I love it when people take the plunge and do something different for themselves.

I would not place the demos in the "aren't bad" category, they are actually very good in my opinion, as well as the vocals.

A couple of years ago my Father asked me to build an organ with an arranger in (based on a Hammond M44 as he couldn't sell them on their own) originally he wanted to use a Tyros, but the drums and accompaniment didn't suit the sound of the Hammond so well and used a Ketron module instead.

http://www.hammond-organ.com/Products/hz_projects.htm

I didn't make it from the ground up though and used the original lower half of the cabinet and lid. With the help of my brother-in-law we made new side panels and a steel enclosure to mount the PCB's and other items for the module. the whole thing was done in kit form hoping to sell it to M44 owners in other countries but Hammond withdrew the M44 a short time after we finished it.
