That's great Bill ...
I lost my hair at a young age - in my twenties - one time the band was booked to play a 50's RnR dance, and everyone was asked to wear 50's clothing, including the band ... ... I went to the hall early and got all set up and went back home to get 'dressed'... later when I got to the gig I was all decked out in 50's clothes, including an Elvis type wig that I got from my barber ... when I first walked in, even the other band members didn't recognize me ...
During the gig I told the guys we were going to play Conway Twitty's "Only Make Believe" I then proceeded to do a parody that I wrote:
"People see me everywhere
They stop and watch me comb my hair
But myself I can't deceive
I know it's ONLY MAKE BELIEVE"
and with that pulled of the wig ... The crowd LOVED it and I then went on to do the whole tune about a RnR star who lost his hair ...
...
Fun days ...
