well, i am sure that the quality of the sounds are the great but the quality of the output of the xv2020 should be the same as with the old jv1010 and the jv1080/2080! The jv2080 is much more powerfull, the outputs are much better and you were still editing on a big screen! The xv2020 is for suree a great preset machine but unable to edit sounds on the machine itself.. Very good as an preset machine and great that you can insert 2 plugin boards of the new series, that rocks!

Roland should concentrate on creating completely new boards and not simply repackaging boards some of which are over 10 years old!!!!!!!!!

This is a pathetic exercise IMHO!

You'd be thinking that they'd work on a whole new orchestral or ethnic board utilizing all 64mb for whole new samples and not repackaged samples from the 90's!!!!!!

I can't see JV/XP users who have already amassed a whole stack of SRJV cards buying these!!!!

I must say I am interested in checking out the new dance SRX card. I really like the Studio SRX card especially the drums!
