i am looking at buying a JV2080 from the US mail order. In Australia we have 220 V, the US is 110 V. Can anyone tell me if there is a switch on the power supply of the module (like on a computer for instance) which lets you switch between the different voltages.
Any help accepted gratefully
ANDREW

Hi,
Although this may a bit late, most JV-2080s use a multi-voltage auto-switching supply that allows you to run from 100 to 240 with only a change to the power cord.

Thanks David.

Does this mean that I therefore can buy one from OS, and switch the cord and have a fully operational machine? If that is the case, then this is contrary to what I have been told previously (ie, that the 2080 only has a single voltage power supply).

Appreciate the help.

Thanks for the reply David.

Is this the same principle as that used on computer power supplies? If so, then it is very good for non-US customers.
