This is not a Democracy. Nigel never claimed it was. It's also not the Coliseum where we can give the 'thumbs up' or 'thumbs down'. I think we should cease and desist trying to pressure the administrator into altering or accelerating whatever time-frame he had in mind (it's probably not going to work anyway). I admire the loyalty of Donny's handful of personal friends but don't believe this is the right tactic to use. The only person who can reinstate Donny is Nigel, so if you want to help Donny's case, then you should be communicating with Nigel directly rather than using the medium of the public forum to try to apply pressure. I think, if anything, it's gracious of Nigel not to have locked or deleted this thread (and any others that spring up). We've never had a problem in the past about the administrative decisions Nigel has made, why start now? BTW, this should not be construed as a negative petition against Donny; I don't care if he's reinstated today, tomorrow, six months from now, or never. I just think that that decision should rest where it rightly belongs.
Donny had done a few things (since his banning) to earn some 'brownie points', all duly highlighted by his supporters and accompanied by what appears to be a sincere apology. That's commendable; I suppose everyone is capable of redemption and deserves a third or forth chance, but that's for Nigel to decide. JMO.
