Tim, the only thing I could find that was distinctly labeled 'African' kit, was in my DM10 module. I haven't had time to look to see exactly what drums make up the kit but is it possible to use some close-sounding drums and make up a user kit? Just wondering?

Hi Coaster Tim According to the spec, the PA800 can load WAV and Akai samples, so this is probably the best chance of getting what you want. (The beauty of Akai samples is that there is usually a sample set to suit almost anything) Hope this helps

You might be able to narrow down your search if you look at West Afrian, East African or South African kit. There isn't any General African Kit - just as Diki pointed out earlier, you can't really find a General Asian kit either.
Now, if you're looking at music geners like Makossa, Highlife, Soukous, Ndombolo ... etc (West African Modern music), a standard kit would do.
