i just got my hands on a used JV 2080, no manual. My monitors work fine thru the MIX OUTPUTS, but there is no sound at all thru the DIRECT outputs. Is this normal? I'm a beginner at midi, so I apologize if my question is quite naive. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

inxela: I'm not too familiar with the JV-2080 (I've got the cheapo version - 1010), but if I remember right, your "mix" out is the default out for everything, and the "direct" outs will have nothing except patches that were specifically assigned to them through settings in the module. Roland has some documentation for it's modules at it's website - might see if there's any hints there. http://www.rolandus.com
