Go into PERFORMANCE mode. You'll see a USER kit already programmed in.Hit the parameter key.Use your left and right arrow key (cursor) to select the midi channel you want to assign.Select the wave key.Move the cursor over to the patch you want to change, and select whatever patch you want by scrolling through the patches using your value knob.Select the exit key to back out of the screen.Select tone switch(3), cursor over to PROGRAM CHANGE,and turn it off.(This will keep your newly selected patch from switching back to its original preset)Hit the exit button.Select the UTILITY button.Select WRITE then Enter.Make sure that you go into the CONTROL option in the PART SWITCH section.Use your up and down cursor.Make sure the midi channels match up and that the channel is turned on.Build your own user kits and name them under the COMMON button again using your value knob.Save everything in the UTILITY option like before. You're in.
