Yamaha Tyros3 got a favorable review in Keyboard mag.

But, apparently the reviewer wants what most players want....He wished for 76 keys...

I was wondering what Jim was doing these days. I tried to find him while on this last trip to the sunny (frozen) south, but couldn't locate him.

The question is how reliable are these reviews. This reviewer is definitely not unbiased.

Yamaha has raised the bar considerably with the T3, and it's about time they give the Tyrose 73 or 76 keys. That would make it a truly flagship keyboard.

I will not misspell Tyros.
I will not misspell Tyros.
I will not misspell Tyros.
I will not misspell Tyros....

Thanks for the link and the thread.

XLR input, 76 keys, they sound like sensible proposals. Not that these inclusions would get me to spend that kind of money.

Good article.

"Yamaha’s Styles for live solo performing are the best in the business"

That's quite a bold statement but having had the T3 for a month or so now it's hard to argue this. I think the most important thing here to note is that they don't sound boring, they are exciting and very well arranged, what I've found striking about the T3 is that a song pops into my head every time I select a style, I've never got that with any arranger before including both the PA1x and Ketron X1... strange!
