Yup.. Take your Audya's and T3s... amazing modern day boards as they are... but.. I was going through some converted PSR8000 styles to the T3 and I tell you, I came across the CHA CHA CHA style I used to use alot back in the day, converted perfectly to play well on the T3 and it just took my breath away... still for me the best CHA CHA CHA style I've heard up to date, variation 2 cannot be beaten by anything I've heard anywhere, I am talking about the arrangements of that style... that's the important thing to note - the arrangements, the drum sequence in that style is so real life... do not underestimate older styles..

Incidentially, I am quite surprised at how most of the PSR8k and 9k styles have converted quite well, or maybe the T3 is backwards compatible anyway? I wasn't quite sure but they don't sound converted to me, they sound authentic but of course with the upgraded sounds which makes them even better sounding. I've revisited some of the them and some are brilliant.

I never got this luxury when I played GEM WX2 styles on the WK8 or i30 styles on my PA1x, they sounded awful and often needing editing even though they were supposedly compatible? I think the only other keyboard I found that played older stuff pretty good was the Solton X1 played the MS stuff well. Yamaha seems to do best though, just an opinion of course.
