Hi all,

Looking for a program that can do batch changes of a single voice in multiple midi files.

Cheers,
Henni

Hi:

I am not aware of such thing, since each of the tracks on midi files can be in different channel.
As an example, lets say the Piano track in Midi file "A" is in track/channel 2, in the Midi file "B" the Piano is on track/Channel 5 and like that in each midi file.
If I am correct, you must change the sound/voice on the track that you want.
Keep in mind if you are using midi files from different sources, chances are that each of the people that made them, will not follow a particular order, except for channel/track 10 for the Drums.

It doesn't matter what channel it's on... If it has a PC# for Piano, it's a piano part! The batch processor looks for the PC# on ALL tracks.

Cakewalk has some pretty sophisticated batch processing features, but past that, sorry, I'm mostly a Mac guy...
