I'm trying to get something working on a Tyros 3.
I set up a new multipad, which is taken from a custom voice.
Is there any way to get the multipad to only start on the first beat of a measure, when I'm playing with a style, even if I press the button sometime in the measure before I want it to start?
To clarify -
Let's say I have a style playing, and I hit the multipad button when the style is up to measure 32, beat 2.
I want it to only start at measure 33, beat 1.
Is there any way to do that?
Thanks!!
Have you upgraded the OS of your Ty3? One of the earlier firmware upgrades was designed to ensure that multipads start on the beat regardless of when the button is pressed.
I don't use MP's much but have noticed that if I do press the button to start a MP the latter remains silent till the next bar starts (assuming I've missed the start of the current bar!)
The latest upgrade is version 1.12 downloadable from here:

It incorporates all the earlier software de-bugging changes including the MP starts so might be worth installing if you don't have it (or vers.1.11) already.
