I am recording with boss BR-8 then running the finished wave through wave lab. The recording sounds good x-cept for the lack of bass hit on the bass drum. I am using the round kick. I lowered the pitch a bit (from A3 to E3) but i just dont know if thats gonna cut it. If you know any patch settings or where i can download a patch for one, i would really appreciate it.

Are you doing all the drums on the XP-80? Is there another kick you can use that gives you more depth? Can you run one of the equalizers on it an boost the lows? Can you filter some of the high frequencies out of it?
I'm just making sure you've examined all the possibilities. You might even try using 2 kicks at once, provided you can do so without some odd doublestrike sound.
