Bachus

agree 100%

MAJOR updates (full versions)
should be a TOTAL delete and RELOAD from scratch

like an IMAGE file

like you said, user backs up all his styles works , etc
then loads entire new OS, which erase ALL, reloads ALL
then user loads back his new styles,

this "patch" update and coming in parts is asking for big TROUBLE,
and the results well, you see what's happening...

just my $0.02

To download from 4.0 to 3.0.
* Delete the Audya40a.mem from the root directory of the Audya's Hard Drive.
* Replace with the Audya30a.mem file which you can find in the SYSTEM - FACTORY - OLDREL folder.
* Turn off AUDYA and press and hold F10 and UNPLUGGED while powering on the Audya again.
It should re-install 3.0 and reboot once done.

Thanks,

AJ

Hmmm.

AJ had no questions about the problems, but just told how to downgrade to v3.
Does that mean that OS4 is not worth load in yet?

I'm a kind of happy I did not buy any Audya yet .....
let's see how the story continue.

Cheers
