If I recall correctly, I used the BluesRock style, and slowed it down.
Of course there are different versions of SusieQ. The original artist, Dale Hawkins, passed away a couple of weeks ago. James Burton did the distinctive guitar lick on it.
The CCR version is somewhat different, though staying close enough to the original to be recognized. As far as I know, you have to play the lick yourself. I was fortunate enough to sit down with James and he played it for me and I learned to emulate it on the keyboard. Of course it can't really be duplicated, but I got it pretty close.
I sometimes use a style very close to Mustang Sally and it works too.

Scott,

The Blues Rock Don recommended works great for this one. And, the Rock & Roll multipad is perfect for some great guitar licks to go with it.

Thanx, guys. I was hoping to get the one with the guitar lick in it. blues rock will certainly work though.
