OK! Here is my first piece of software that’s actually useful. It's called the Fill UnRouter and it's totally free! O.K, so it's not that complicated, but it's very useful. It is used for OMB and Live Styler so that the fills won't change the variation. For example, if variation A is currently playing and I hit fill C, the variation would change to Variation C after the fill. So I got around that using my software. It goes in between the midi input keyboard and the OMB or Live Styler software. It senses if the fill is different from the current variation and if so, it retriggers the original variation. I wrote it using Virtual MIDI Machine
http://vmm.audionetwork.be/ You need the VMM runtime to use my file. I will soon post exact instructions on how to set up and use it. Can someone please offer to post the file online somewhere so that everyone can download it?
Enjoy your music. More software to come! Next, I want to add the feature so that in OMB, after you hit transpose, it should only transpose when the next key or chord is pressed. (Live Styler already has this feature.)
By the way, I think that these features are very easy to implement into the software, and I hope that this will be done by the software writers of OMB and Live Styler. But until then, I’ll have to use my work-around.
Enjoy Your Music!!!
