Another set of questions for you guys; I think that using the PA800 with the Midjay Plus is overkill so, I purchased a Roland A-37 to use with the Midjay when a gig calls for keyboard. I know that Donny, Don Mason, and I think Fran and a couple others here used this combination in the past. I’ll probably use a midi bass unit with the A-37 into the Midjay. Any advice, set up recommendations, performance tips, pluses/minuses? Thanks. Ciao, Jerry
I enjoyed my time on stage with the Midjay/A37 ....great sound. I had some issues with the A37 talking to the Midjay at times and navagationaly it wasn't the best scenario for a few reasons one being two separate units to always control, and the A37 touch was not a good fit for my playing style as i like a fast light touch & 61 keys... versus an all in one arranger which I much prefer versus a module. After a few months I decided to switch to a SD1 which served me alot better as an all in one with a super sound instead of all the wires and hookups of the previous setup especially doing a few gigs a day. But thats me ....I wish you good luck in your new venture.

Not much to complain about as the SD1 is a superior arranger KB....it was more of just pure Ergonomics then anything else. The SD5 would have been a better fit for my needs.

Don, If I decide to sell the PA800, and if the SD5 is still available, I would be interested in the SD5. It would save me a lot of time editing for 2 different formats. Ciao, Jerry
