I am, I have two shows....I always love to put a smile on all the mommies faces out there and their families. plenty of time afterwards for me to get home for mine!

My gig today is cooking dinner for my wife, and my daughter and her family .... I'll let son-in-law do the dishes ... Ravioli with bolognese sauce- OF COURSE they are from Venda, Steve - bone in loin pork roast, double baked potato, mushroom gravy, artichokes with ranch dipping sauce, mixed green salad ... and of course a nice wine ... Lydia is INSISTING on doing something so she is making a chocolate lava cake in her new 'Pampered Chef' bake dish ... Have a great day, and "HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY" to all of you ... t.

Tony I knew that without you even saying so We've just been invited to a wedding rehearsal dinner party being held at Venda in a week from now. Wouldn't you know we have another committment and can't make it!!!

I got a last minuete call to sub for a drummer that broke his leg. The gig was at a VFW hall with a 10 piece tejano/variety band. Lots of good dancers and lots of fun but I do feel sorry for my drummer buddy.

I did my usual 2 church services this morning. Then it was time to do the cooking. I'm always very thankful that my wife doesn't want to go to a restaurant on Mother's Day. So I always cook her anything she wants. This year she asked for crab imperial. So I made that along with baked potatoe and asparagus. It was a great dinner and a great day all around. And yes, happy Mother's Day to all you mothers out there.

Regular club gig...every holiday for over 30 years. It's where the B-3 lives, but I don't use it for dinner jobs. This year, just the Mp-30 piano and a nylon string classical guitar thru two little Cm 30 Rolands. 8 hours during serving time. No other sound system...no vocals.My "relief" player couldn't make it this year. At least there were lots of "pretty mommas"!
