Hi! I just bought a Roland XV-88 for a bargain price $2083 US, and am having a lot of fun. I'm toddling along with cakewalk, but having some problems gettin the Rx MIDI switch to go to multi... I'm sure I'll figure it out though.
alfax, I bought my XV-88 for $4400 Australian - at the moment it retails for $5675. I use it to play Praise and Worship music (Delirious, Sonic Flood, The Parachute Band and Tree63 for those interested) and I'm also getting into some covers now in a new band. The Keyboard is great and has just about anything you want for whatever you want.

Good evening,
I own a JV-1080 that I trigger from an Ensoniq SD1. I use both in my church's praise and worship band and they work well together, especially layered sounds. An SD1 organ or sawtooth wave layered with any of the JV's vocal patches is awesome!
Hi, I am Rajen from Pretoria in South Africa. I had the XP-50 which I changed for the JV1080 [JV1080 is the module of the XP-50]. I use Cakewalk PA 9 which works perfectly. I use the Yamaha DX7 as a midi keyboard and 2nd module Korg O3R/W. I have the Asia and World cards on the JV1080. I think these JV/XP are magic stuff. Rajen.
I bought an XP-60 a couple of weeks ago. I'm really happy with it and my only problem is finding the time and patience to read the manual. Textbooks are more of an entertaining read than this thing.
