Hello All

I was always borried about to have to wait some empty measures before the MIDIFILE/KARFILE start playing.

For all vArranger users, I just added the new DIRECT PLAY feature on the next version. When you press START, the first note plays immediately...

Is there any other software who do that? Am I the only one who don't like to wait?

What do you think about it?

Hi Dan
Assuming one has an intro in the body of the file, fine. There have been times when I needed the clicks to orient my time, but these are few. On the other hand, the clicks are a dead give away, plus a time waster, and I think it,overall,is great.

I got your latest revision(free of course)and you have added many great features. I am in the process of trying them out.

Hi Bernie,

If a midifile own a countdown. vArranger will not remove it.

I will send you the update tomorrow. I am sure you will love this function, and the new very fast search feature.

You write some letters, a list with the songs is displayed, you press enter and the first note of the midifile is ready to play

Dan

ps I never had a Roland arranger, because I don't like so much the sounds, but I know that they are SMART keyboards.

AJ, you mean if the first note it at the 5th measure + 2 times, then it will start from that position?

AJ, does the midjay can save the tracks mute and transpose into the midifile?

If yes, do you know the SYSEX?

I want to do the same on vArrager, so if you take a ketron midifile and play it with vArranger or opposite, it will work the same.

I love Mediastation and Ketron instruments, because they are smart
