The 9kb's on the internet have the same specs as you described. Are those specs wrong and need to be updated?

The current KKP-9KB which everyone lists using the old (and incorrect)specs is discontinued, as is the earlier model that we all use with the exact same model number (can you believe that?).
The new (and discontinued) KKP-9KB is 1" shorter, the actual case part that is. The one that was just sent to me (after they sent the wrong series AND size case) is this model which also folds in half now. To try to make it rigid, they have folding sides which also take up space. The one sent me one of these sides doesn't even fold down all the way. I didn't want to force it because I didn't want to ruin a case that is the wrong size anyway.
Really even if this case fit I would not want it. I want the old model like so many of us have used for years. I bought mine in 2003.
This is kind of a blow to all of us Tyros, PSR and I'm sure other keyboard owners. This was the only case that made sense as far as size, weight, features for the Tyros.
I talked to a very helpful rep at Kaces who said he would keep me on his list if they ever made another case that fit the Tyros again (that is if it's cost effective he told me).
I wish Yamaha or somebody would listen to us for a change. I mean really, a $4000 keyboard and their cases are not what we want.
Oostendorp in the Netherlands is the case I know we'd all wish we could get, for under the $500 it costs to buy one and have it shipped to the US that is.
The Guardian case would be great if the 61 version was a couple inches longer.
I am having an issue with the music company that I ordered this from. Mind you they sent 2 cases that don't fit and they want to charge me freight. I could see if I ordered something and got it and it was what I had really ordered that sure, they would would charge some freight if I wanted to return it. BUT, they send me 2 cases that are not to specs and still want to charge me for freight.
It is not my fault they sent this to me and it is not right. If anybody is charged it out to be the Kace company, or the guy in China who made it wrong, or wherever the screw up began.
I have been going round and round with this company. They act like I either don't know what I'm talking about or that I'm lying that it doesn't fit.
The rep even told me about the Kace company, "they're really nice people and wouldn't lie." So, I must be a liar???
Anyway, I know how things can happen, so I am trying to be Mr. nice guy. So far anyway.
I mean this is no different than me ordering a 100 watt amp and receiving a 60 watt amp with the same model number. Who would expect the customer to fork over one penny for someone else's screw up.
Now they want me to send pictures of the case they sent. hahahahaha
