Hi,

I bought a Roland sc-55 mark II from Ebay
without manual, I was searching for on line
manual using google but can't get it, I would
like to know where can I get the tone list and how to choose bank using calkwalk? I heard that there are 384 sounds
in the module but I can only get 128 GM
sounds, please help, come and hear my midi
music, "rubber tree", song from Singapore.

Thanks a lot!

The only thing you need is to add/load the instrument definition file for the sc55.
I think it even comes with the cakewalk/sonar cd, but anyway you can find these instrument patches on the cakewalk site as well or links to it.
I am not at my daw at the moment but if I recall;

options -> instruments -> define instruments -> add sc55.ins file that's all.

The manual of roland won't help you anyway with this.

take care,
Fred

It is possible to change banks and patches through MIDI also. I just don't remember exactly how at the moment. Maybe it was through NRPNs. I always dial in the sounds in the synth anyway.
