Hi Don,
unfortunately my SD2 died, about 6 months before my PA800's screen died.
I had a bad run. In the 20 plus years I've had keyboards, these are the only 2 that have had a problem, so I suppose I can't really complain. The guy who fixed my Korg couldn't fix the SD2, he had a look at it and worked out the board would probably have to be replaced. I might still get it checked out by a Ketron agent one day, just in case he was wrong.
I'm still keeping my PA800, though I probably won't spend as much time on it messing round with styles. Instead of converting I'll do that for my softsynth Yammie setup instead. The Korg will make a good controller though.
Congratulations on the Audya 4. Is that the module version??
For me if only Ketron had the same great style editing function a Korg has, I would never have sold my SD1 Plus, and I'd definately consider another Ketron, especially a module.
best wishes
Rikki

Congrats on the laptop! I no nothing of software arrangers, hope it works for you. Will you be using the Ketron SD2 or something else for your sound engine?
I wonder what the final solution was with you PA800? I saw your post abt the display failure.
I have been Korg free for abt six months. Sold the PA2X in March.
Currently I'm awaiting the arrival of the Audya 4 which I ordered last Saturday! Should be here in early September. I have high expectations; hope I'm not disappointed.
Good Luck with your new setup, let us know how it goes.
