I'll be playing some gigs with a trumpet and tenor sax player. I have a few SMF that I'd like the horn players to play along with. Also I'd like the horn players to play some of the horn lines that are on the intros and ending of my Yamaha T2 styles.

Can anybody here make some good easy to read parts for tenor sax and trumpet? Of course I'd pay for your services. My email is on my profile.

Get yourself PG Music's Powertracks..

You can select the midi channel that has your sax and trumpet score....change the key if needed and print out the score...

thanks for the software recomendation. i need to check that out.

last night i got off my lazy ass and scored the parts the old fashioned way- listened,rewind, listen, rewind.... and then wrote them out with pencil and paper.

very old school- i know....

Did you transpose them for Trumpet and Sax?
What sax is it, a tenor, an alto?

Another way is to download a demo copy of Notation Musician at http://www.notation.com/DownloadMusicianTrial.php.

In that software you can import you SMF files and do a transcript as you want.

Musicman- yes I made the transition for Tenor and Trumpet.

Can any of these software notation programs transcribe intro and ending of Yamaha styles

If you change the extension of the Yamaha style to .MID, Notation musician will read intros and endings.
