Has anyone had any revelations as to what to set a Bose L1 classic system on? I mean the presets. I guess that is a tough question to answer without knowing a lot of things but... any guidance here? I'll do some more searches, just thought some people might have discovered something.

Or would you just set it on default? Whatever that is? 00?

Hi Brian, what do you mean by that? My first thought is... if you have a Tonematch, then why do you run everything flat? Why have the Tonematch? Is that what you mean? You only use your keyboard for effects?

Do you mean flat on the PA system or you mean you have keyboard set with everything flat?

And, by the way, I have a Tonematch. Has anyone found it to do any good using a keyboard? I bought it mostly because of rave reviews for guitar / vocal stuff.

Bill, first of all you need to upgrade the Audya. There are new e.q. settings in the latest OS, 4.1b. The new O.S. is available from the Ketron.it website, but you should also call Ted and have him send you the Pen Drive that also contains the new sounds and styles. Each pen drive is specific to only one keyboard and the serial number is necessary.
I think you will find that what little e.q. is necessary you can do easier from the Audya.
When I used a Tonematch with the Bose, I did use a mic e.q. setup and one of the factory Bose keyboard templates in the Tonematch. Then I saved and named it for future use. I never found the need for much overall e.q.
Give me a call.
