This Roland FP7F has some real nice features for a portable.

At 80lbs you might want to look at the FP4 as an alternative for gigging......33lbs and $500.00 cheaper. Nice instrument though, with a lot of features.

Read on specs.....that is total weight with the stand & accessories ....it's only 52 lbs alone no t much more then a G70....and who mentioned gigging with it? although it could be used easily either way no problem on any Kb stand..or worrying about the price?....on top of that the FP4 doesn't have all the great features that the FP7 has!

A looper..? And that's it? What is this...? Lowered Expectations?

Hardly a challenge to a PA588...

I had an FP5 before my Tyros 2. The FP-5 had great piano sounds and action, and the speakers were good. It was REALLY heavy. The styles were nice but limited. It left me wanting more, which steered me to the T2. The new features in the FP7 seem like logical evolution from the FP5. I tried the FP4 and didn't like the action.

I agree with Diki. If I was to consider an 88-key keyboard again I would look at the PA588 too.
