I used Styleworks and converted my old Korg I2 patterns/styles for the SD1. I am getting the onboard mic and audio channels motherboard replaced. Problem is the tech needs to reflash everything and I will lose my patterns and I have no backup. He already lost my registrations involving them and I doubt there is a backup on the board unless it did automatically at some stage of the process....

In any case i need to know how to save them either to the disk drive or to floppy so I can reinstall them after the new motherboard is put on. Could you possibly give me a step by step? I would really appreciate it.

Best regards,

justforfun000,

Don't worry. The patterns will be there when you've installed the new mic board. The styles are stored in the Hard Disk i.e all the styles you either created or loaded into the SD1.
To save ALL registrations on board the unit into a single back up registrations simply press SAVE/ENTER (from the default screen), REGISTRAION (F1) and screen should display "Save all registations to...". Give this block of registrations a name and save.

The FLASH styles (default ... those that first come on the fist page whenever you try to select a CUSTOM style) can be reloaded from the Hard Disk (Master Folder needs to be off), FOLDER 90 - Reload!

Thanks,

AJ
