Next week there will be the : http://www.tasten-festival.de/ better known as teh Okey tastenfestival in Herdecke(Wersi hometown) Germany.

- Lionstracs/tastenpoint will announce a new instrument named Virgin 1.

- Roland will be there presenting theire digital piano line and Attelier Organs.

-Jürgen Sagitarius will present the Korg News on stage...

-Yamaha will do the official German presentation of Tyros 4

-Ketron will be there too.

-Böhm will be presenting their new Organ line.

And more and more and more...


So that leaves us with 2 questions
1) What is a lionstracs Virgin 1.
-My idea would be that its either a rack, an Organ model or the new model with 88 keys and 11,7"touchscreen.
2)Whats the news from Korg?
-Could it be a new arranger keyboard?

We will know in a few days.....

The new virgin 1 will be available with a selection of different size pedals

So it's an Organ or a Piano ?

Oooh my goodness Domencio....!!!

I've never really been much of a fan of the designs Wersi came up with as they still look like big plastic finished old organs, but this Virgin 1 is in another league altogether.

Looks very “Now” .. “Happening” .. and “elegant”. A beautiful merger of technology, class and workmanship.

To me that picture is still very misty and unclear... the surprise is still unspoiled, seems you have more inside info James..

I expect to see more during/after the Okey event.


Makes me wondering if there will be a more portable version without the pedals. That could be the summum for live performers, 2 keyboards in 1 box.

Haven't played with pedals in over 20 years now.. and i see no reason to change that. But 2 manuals on top of eachother would be awesome.


Still wondering if Korg comes up with some new arranger product.. After all the german market is the main arranger market in the world.
