Last night Oostendorp Music had his European Premiere showing the Tyros4!
About 320 people came to listen and are blown away by this machine!
Amazing what effort Yamaha put in the T4.
The vocals, strings, horns, organs, piano, scat, styles, fantastic (right in your face) drums, synths, the VH2 ..... unbelievable!
No need for flash because the built in voices have it all.

I have been cheated by the polished lifeless sound from Tyros1/2/3 for 4 years but have finaly seen the light: "THE AUDYA".

Kla4...My god man..320 people. WOW what interest!

It would be fun to attend an event like that. I just don't know why the US market is so crappy when it comes to arrangers?
I guess everyone want's to play guitar in a rock band?

The man is entitled to his opinion...He played Tyros for 4 years, and expressed his displeasure..hardly what I would call a basher....He is just voicing his excitement over Audya..comparing to his Tyros run..

If you can't accept a former Yamaha owner's opinion...maybe you are not open minded enough..

I do understand someone feeling hurt by what appears as mocking their beloved instrument choice...but why not listen to what a former Yamaha user has to say..maybe there is a lesson to be learned..

That would work real well, as long as he didn't comment negatively on your G-70...then, you'd throw the proverbial hissy fit, make a bunch of fanboy posts in it's defense, get mad because someone gets the better of you, and then, edit your posts down to ".".

Fran, you're a riot.

Hi

It's funny that everytime a new Tyros is popping up, it's a new fantastic machine and blows people away. But it's ONLY an upgraded Tyrso 3, with some new voices and a lot of shubidua, du, bi, dap, dap choir. Maybe it blows some people away, but it defently blows their money away to. LOL

And EXACTLY the same hyperbole, spin and general marketing strategy adopted by ALL manufacturers for every new release!!

Can't you folks just accept that it is what it is and move on. I personally would like to see a 76 note in the PSR series, but there isn't so I look at something else. No problems, no getting bent out of shape about it. No tilting at windmills

The Tyros and indeed all the PSR's will be a fine instrument in someone's hands, maybe some should just accept its not for them and grant the respect to those that do choose them.
