For all Yamaha users, which one is the best all round arranger?
The PSR S910, T1, T2, T3 or T4.

I guess it depends on whether cost is of ANY consideration or not. At the moment, I'd be inclined to say the S910 is the best 'all round' Yamaha, simply because you can buy TWO of them for less than a T4...

OTOH, perhaps a used T3, bought from some poor sap trading it away to get the marginal improvements a T4 will provide over it, if you can talk him down far enough (and, as desperate for whatever Yamaha have JUST brought out as he is, you might be able to get a HEFTY discount ) could be the 'best' all round...

BTW, if you are Indian, the best choice would be (if restricted to Yamaha) the S910, too.

I think the T2, for the money I've put in it has worked out best for me.

The PSR's in the right hands are also very, very good, but I found them too toylike with their smaller keys and display. However, there are several users on this forum who can make them sound fantastic.

I'm due for an upgrade, I'm just not sure the T4 is it...

My first impressions were very good but at this moment, I'd probably prefer a used T3 than a new T4. I still need to do more research on it and actually sit down with one for a while, but that's where I am today.

I don't do popular dance music, rather material aimed at the older crowds.

Honestly, if I could just find a way to get the super articulation Clarinet to work in my T2, I'd be happy clam...
