vArranger uses some very specific windows features that are not yet ported under linux with WINE. We already tried it.

what's a virtual SD2?
I gather it only runs on Media Stations.

Unfortunately my Non Virtual SD2 died on me during an update. Don't think I'll be replacing it.

Yes and no. It could be made to work under certain Windows software like Samplelord or NI Kontakt. I only need to modify the code on my LSCP GEN software to export the banks to different formats.

if a Virtual SD2 ever became available for Windows ( especially via Sample Lord) I'd be one of the first customers. haahaa
You put me onto Sample Lord for the
V Machine. Even though I didn't purhase it for the V Machine ( I sold it ) I did purhase SampleLord for my laptop.
It's been brilliant for my soundfonts & giga samples.

The SD2 Module was a bit dissapointing. Just over 2 years old. They weren't exactly cheap over here either. Cost me well over $600AUD at the time.

I am personnaly trying to experiment the virtual way with vArranger.

I tried the Roland HyperCanvas VST sound module, and the sounds are very OK.

I also sampled some hardware drum kits, esspecially oriental percussions, and try to assign some channels of the styles to the virtual route.

From now, I can say that it's amazing.

I will post video explanations of that soon.

That's why I was hoping you had a demo version I could play around with. You have the program, and I have a Virtual SD2.

Between the two of us, I think there's an opportunity here that could be explored.

I meant purely from a Lionstracs partnership. They have fallen out and Norbert has pretty much just taken all Lionstracs Giga Libraries without permission and is planning on selling them included with Live Styler.

Live Styler will soon be fully virtual and that's where the trouble will start.
