I have recently installed the Exp update. As I had to change the eprom first I have now got what is virtualy an SD1 PLUS.THE UPDATE WAS EASY TO INSTALL AND I MUST SAY HAS IMPROVED THE VOICING AND LOAD TIMES CONSIDERABLY. i PARTICUARLY LIKE THE GROWL SAX AMONGST THE SAXES WHICH i WOULD SAY ARE ALL IMPROVED.tHE GUITAR SECTION HAS SOME LOVELY TOUCHES WITH bends, noises etc controlled by velocity. I had to adjust the velocity to get better control of this. Some styles (lots from other k/board's) Require tweaking a little, this is easy as you know.Wave files can be loaded along with styles to give a different feel and AJ has provided a sample of this with midi file "Bomba"where he uses the harmoniser to give an example of his singing prowness! (stick to the guitar AJ) Ha-Ha-HA. overal I would say a worth while improvement and with a very positive back up from AJ.who will be too ready to explain any details. Chalky. u.k
