The first Ketron Workshop has been scheduled for the Miami FL area (Orlando and Miami Beeach) for the following dates:

* November 10th, 11th and 12th, 2003.

WHAT ARE SOME OF COVERED TOPICS? AND DO YOU SEE IT HAPPENING IN THE NORTHEAST SOMETIME SOON??

Orlando would be great- it's Central Florida and easier to reach and stay. Count me in. Let me know if you need some help. I live an hour away.

I'm not trying to be a party-pooper but to call your affair in Florida the "Ketron Clinic" makes it sound like its for SICK keyboards. The name implies that Ketron keyboards are prone to trouble and are not reliable. I hope they select a more suitable name for the event for advertising purposes.

It will be 1 Workshop per day; so there will be 3 in 3 separate locations in FL. (CORRECTION: For now, we are focusing on the 10th and 11th. Hotel location will be disclosed shortley).

The topics that will be covered will be all functions that can be obtained with the latest OS in the new products, Voices, Styles, Edits and programming, Sequencer, Sampling (esp. using the Wave Synch technology), Midi .... We will also take questions on current products, and ideas and suggestions towards future OS releases and new products.

A Workshop for the NorthEast is in the works.

I live a long way from Florida, don't even
have any Ketron yet, but that was my first
thought and understanding of this post too,
a "hospital for sick Ketron keyboards", and
it really made me wonder a lot.

We call them Keyboard Clinic's here in the UK, but Possibly Keyboard Tutorials would be a more suitable name.

Just a thought--record it-make dvd,vhs-charge for it-I believe many of us will purchase it as we do not have the time or means to go.
