Would you beleive that after sitting on a bookcase for, four years, my omni still plays! Although a bit tempermental.

I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work. It's not like you were kicking it. It's not a "soft" synth you know.

Seriously though it's amazing isn't it? Something this old and instead of falling apart and blowing up like a fried console in Star Trek movies it still works.
Yet there are brand new synths that fry for no reason. Or fail to work because of multiple software bugs like the Virus TI.

Well it was collecting dust. To bad they don't make keyboards like this anymore.

I wish they could make a virtual version of the omni, like they did with the Odyssey, and 2600.

I think there are a few but none that emulate omni specifically.

I figured as much. I have found samples of the omni on Sample CD-ROMS.

Have you noticed that out of all of the synthesizers I have owned. This is the only synthesizer I currently still own.
