Actually it's neither because I used to have both keyboards and the 510 / 520 were classed as MOTL in those days if i'm not mistaken! No what you're looking at is a very lowly PSR 220 because I bought one for my daughter when she was 9!!! I'll post a pic just to prove it!!!

I will bet you as a piano player this guy wishes it was 76 keys..

Just because he had to compromise..also if he used a sustain pedal..that model would have muted for several seconds after he reached 32 polyphony..

Just think, nowadays you can get a G-70 for almost the same price, and you wont have to let your daughter use your "good" keyboard. Ha ha.

Seriously, Yamaha was doing a great job back then (and even better, now) and the "10" series, like the 1993 510 (plus the more elaborate PSR-2700/1700) had great styles and features as did the "20" series that followed in 1996.

The PSR-220 has a lovely sound, and the guy is a fine player as well.

Ian, thanks for your post, indeed I went through a whole host of Yamaha keyboards my first being the PSS-790, then onto the PSR 300, then PSR 500, then PSR 410, PSR 510, PSR 520, PSR 620 then moved onto the TOTL range starting from the PSR8000 from which I've never looked back.

With regards to the PSR 220, I could have worded my post a little better, when I said the PSR 220 was lowly I actually meant that it's from the beginners range rather than it being a lowly keyboard, but for sure it still sounded very good no matter what range it was classed. I was in ToysRus recently and they had a Yamaha keyboard on show (not sure what the model was) but it was around £170, I had a quick go and it sounded fantastic, some of the styles were direct ports of the T3!!!!!
