Casio really isn't stepping into new territory here with some of these features on these latest models. What they're actually doing is "bringing them back". These aren't the only models to have had sliders, data dials, user storage areas, full style and song sequencers, ect.
I think the sounds (thus far) seem to be decent. However.., I personally think Casio has taken a step backward with the AHL sound engine. IMO the ZPI sound engine was better. What Casio should have done was carry over the sound engine from the WK-3800 to these new models.
I'm most likely going to pick up the CTK-7000 when they hit the USA. Granted it's not a full replacement for the MZ-2000.., but darn close.
**On a side note I have to give some serious kudos to Casio for the design on the new line. These new models look extremely nice. I love the black bodies with the blue leds. Very sharp and much more pro looking than your typical Casio.**
