Not a bad Oscar Peterson clip to the right, either!

Enjoy,

Gary

Not an Audya, T4 or a Lionstracs MS, no Qranger, no live drums to be seen, I didn't know he was that good, thanks for that Gary

Ummm, wonder what his setup time was. His 'boards didn't seem to have any problem recognizing rootless chords either. Bet he can't wait for the new Tyros 5 with the dual mp3 player. Uh, what style was that anyway?

Outstanding playing to say the least. Thanks for posting Gary....... I got to see Rick Wakeman playing with Yes in the early 70s. The most memorable time was on the Bryant College Campus in a rotunda in the student union. Couldn't have been more than 500 people at the show. Oscar's solo of Sweet Georgia has always been one of my favorites unfortuantely never got to see him play live.

On another note if you ever have an opportunity to see/hear Michel Camilo live don't miss him.

Michel Camilo Plays Blue Bossa

Check out his other videos especially Caribe incredible technique.

Wow! After watching all the associated videos I think it's time for me to retire and spend more time sailing. These guys are incredible to say the very least. I've never seen hands move so effortlessly over their instruments, yet remain so flawlessly accurate. In comparison, I have absolutely no musical talent at all. I guess it's a good thing I just put a deposit down on a Morgan 33 Out Island. Seems like a good time for me to slowly fade out of the entertainment biz and sail to the sunny south.

Thanks for the links guys,

Gary

While I am used to seeing arranger players stand when they play, I found it strangely interesting that Wakeman was standing playing the piano ...

I LOVE Oscar's playing ... the look of appreciation on the faces of the 'sidemen' said it all ....
