Hi guys,

Tis the season and I've been lovin every minute of it this year. I'm doing 27 Christmas parties on top of my church schedule. So far it's been great. I feel really good and I'm really in the spirit this year. It could have something to do with my almost 1 year old grandson. BTW, how do you post a photo on here? Anyway, let me know how your Christmas gigs are going.

Joe

Same schedule--27 Xmas parties, plus 2 NYE. Kinda' hectic for this old man, but next year I'm slowing down even more to just 20 Xmas parties.

In order to post the photos you must have an internet site, such as photobucket, where the photos are stored. Then, it's just a matter of posting a link to the photos. Or, use the UBB code to make them appear on this site.

I do lots of corporate parties, and many are for financial institutions.

They've been pretty sober and not nearly as lavish as they were several years ago.

I guess with the economy & all the corporate layoffs out there how you get in a party mood.

That has something to do with it, no doubt, but I think the more significant thing is the focus on alcohol consumption and drunk driving has cut down considerably on the amount of drinking done at these corporate parties, unless a lot of the people are staying in the hotel the party is at ... I remember 'back in the day', hardly ANYONE was sober at the end of one of these parties, and thought nothing about going out and driving home ... not so much today ...

My holiday party gig schedule doesn't hold a candle this year to you guys, or the member who said he had 39 . . . wow! but considering the economic downturn here, California's unemployment rate currently 12.4% , means both corporate & private client's entertainment budgets are now slashed or cut out altogether, I certainly appreciate the gigs I've got. I sure hope the economy improves in 2011.

Party season has been great. Would you believe I'm STILL getting calls for parties. Of course everyone wants them the same nights.
I have developed a bad cold and cough though. However, the show must go on!

Hey, Mason, be glad of your natural gifts. You're one of the few people I know who can burp Christmas songs in the key of "E"!

"HO, HO, HO"!
