How do I change the sound of a chord in the Arrange View when it's on intro, without affecting the A,B,C, or D arrangements? This is driving me nuts! What am I doing wrong?
Also, I've had a occur few times when playing with a harmony and 2nd voice, that the harmony voice froze, and I couldn't get it off without turning off the keyboard. Now that I have OS2, will this issue be addressed?

bzw,

* Press KEY START.
* Press associated INTRO (1-3).
* Press ARRANGER VIEW (F5).
* Select the CHORD whose voice you want to change (F6-F10).
* While it is highlighted, press the VOICE you want to access.
* Press -CURSOR+ to change from GROUP (change affects all chords for entire style components) to SINGLE (change affects only current selection eg intro).
* Change the voice as required.
* Press SAVE/ENTER and STYLE to SAVE - otherwise once you go back to intro again, initial intro parts will be used.

Should you ever experience hanging notes, press SAVE/ENTER and EXIT together.

Hope this helps,

AJ

AJ I tried that, however it only seemed to work for chord 3, not chord 4. I assume that when you mean "cursor" you meant the transpose button; since thats the one that changes it from global to single (I was not aware of this step). Maybe there is something else I'm doing wrong, but I followed your instuctions numerous times. After I change chord 4 and save it, the next time I press intro 2 (the one I'm working with) the sound changes to the original setting from before?!

Bruce ,
Globally copy the pattern into an empty pattern area .
Than go into pattern record mode , call up intro 1,2or 3 (next to F1) . In record mode you will be able to change the instruments .

Make the changes and save enter .

I will not be back to the store until after new years . I hope this makes sense .

bzw,

The instructions I sent to you above are for temporal settings. You will have to copy this style into a Pattern location from Pattern EDIT - COPY (as Dan mentioned above), should you choose to make the changes permanent.

Thanks,

AJ
