PS I am also getting jumbled up LCD displays, ie one page on top of another, anyone getting this also, switch off again to clear it.

I think we need to understand we are not dealing with a big organisation in KETRON and these things are going to take time to get shorted.

Or we jump ship!

had this problem and others with display. the whole sd1 used to freeze and it was all because of a loose screen connector. I opened it up, removed the upper board, cleaned the screen's connector's pins and bent them so some pressure needed to be applied when you screw it back into the board.
end of story! all problems solved.

Zprod,

Thanks for that - I think mine appears to be software, I might be wrong , it doesn't happen all that much but when it does you cant read the screen , if you push a few buttons or exit it will clear that's why I think mines firmware.Have you had stuck notes!

no stuck notes but stuck everything. the whole sd1 kept playing the last pattern. I was still able to play chords and solos but there was no response from any of the buttons and I think even the volume slider didn't effect the output (I'm not sure about that). I had these mixed displays one on top of the other, but everything is OK since I cleaned and bent the connectors.
I only have one problem with my instrument. some patterns have "hickups" and fall off the rhythm. it only happens in single (disk) styles , not in custom styles. anybody had this problem?

zzprod (and others).

If you have OS 4.0C, please go to ARRANGER MODE, PAGE 2/2, DYNAMIC and change PRIORITY to LEFT (for arranger style of playing) and not RIGHT (for Midifile playback).

LEFT allocates most polyphony to the Arranger to avoid drop out when the max. polyphony is reached.

Thanks,

AJ
