Though I've got a Namm 2011 entrance badge reserved for me, I've decided to opt out this year because, on top of the long travel distance (360+ miles x 2) I've just recently upgraded to Tyros 4 . Interestingly enough, the most enjoyable thing about Namm for me (2nd to getting that 1st peek at new gear) is re-connecting with old friends & associates (both manufacturer/dealer reps & musician buds), so will miss seeing Peter Baartmans & Martin Harris, Simon Inkly, Mark Anderson, and SZ buds Frank, Tapas, Manuel, AJ, etc. That said, Tapas promised to keep me 'up to the minute' updated (via cellphone) and also be shooting video with his new Canon MP30 vidcam too. I'm especially excited to see & hear what new arranger Korg's going to be showcasing, as I definitely haven't ruled out getting it eventually. Man, I love how this new technology gives us all the convenience to be virtually anyplace, anywhere, and instantly live.

Hey Scott,
Glad to hear from you again! Although I'm just a lurker here, we missed your presence here! Yes, we need to have another West Coast Jam here in CA. How's your career in music? Are you using now your new T4? I thought I could visit 2011 NAMM this year. I live very close to where it will be held. But I guess I'll just wait for now. I don't know anybody that can provide a pass or badge.
Regards, Jimmy
