I am looking for a Roland EM-2000. I have a friend that owns one and I have fallen in love with it. I have checked the VA76 and the sounds are great, but I dislike the layout of the keyboard. Anyone know where I can find an EM-2000?

thanks

Unfortunatly, you'll not find much. Too bad Roland would not release a EM-2500 - an improved version of the 2000 - similar to the Technics KN-2600. The demand is big, and I'm sure Roland would make big money on that. (I have the EM-2000, and every month another friend calles me if I would like to sell it!)

Not that the EM-2000 has that great layout (I like much better both Yamaha's or Technics' layout, much easier and more proctical and logical), but it's far much better than the VA-7 touch screen.

I chose a VA5 over an EM2000 because I found the VA5 easier to navigate. Also the sounds on the VA5 are much better than EM2000.

I have Va-76 and I hate the layout of the buttons and stuff. But I wanna tell U one truth Em-2000 is the same as the G-1000 But has 61-keys, D-beam, and speakers. and before VA-76 came out I thought the new kbd will be Em-3000, see guys all musicians have similiar ideas, but those Roland Workers design this...Ahh.. forget it.
