My Roland's E-86 floppy drive doesn't work anymore.Every time i insert disk,i see "Unknown format" message.Can i use any PC floppy drive instead or can i solve this problem by other way?

Yes,you can .Take care at the bottom of the floppy drive there are some little switches,arrange them exactly in the same order like original:I did it and it´s working.You should try to clean it first with a cleaning floppy and some alcohol,like the one you use for cleaning,video,cass heads.I think you can get a cleaning floppy at any store saling computers.
