G70. Not using a PCMCIA adaptor yet hence no External Memory on Compact Flash.
I want to save my fairly extensive "GIG 1"
User Programme (which has taken days of dedication) before I update to flash version 1.10.
Roland told my to try saving onto a 1.4 floppy but the "Floppy" is greyed out. I hasten to add that I've formatted the floppy in the G70 and it has no errors on it. Peculiarly, when I go to save my "Midi 1" set up, the floppy is accepting it.

Any ideas or suggestions.

Even if the size of my User Programme is greater than the floppy size, surely I should still have some indication !

Derek,
I believe you can only save a User SET and that you cannot save it to floppy, hence the "greyed out".
If you explore http://www.selskabsmusikeren.dk/
you will find more information.

Best bet is to use a computer to back up - hook up the G70 with a USB cable, read the manual (!) and have at it!
